The Easton squadron website is now being updated by Lt Melanson, Commander Hughes and I would like to encourage everyone to share CAP images they may have as well as sharing your ideas for what you would like to see on our website.
O-Rides and Aircraft
As everyone knows, we have been doing a tremendous amount of flying recently. National headquarters wants to see us fly the plane 200 hours per year and to help reach that goal we have been spending quality time with our cadets flying O-Rides in the plane. I want to personally thank all the cadets, their parents and our excellent pilots for making this all happen. It has been a great team effort and we need to keep our beautiful airplane in the air.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Cadet Commander's Welcome:
Hello and thank you for visiting the Easton Composite Squadron website. As you explore our website, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about the opporunities that have been afforded to me during my CAP career.
My proudest accomplishment in CAP was graduating from the 2012 Tri-Wing Encampment at Camp Fretterd where I learned to handle difficult situations under pressure. One year later, I attended the 2013 Regional Cadet Leadership School at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base; I learned the leadership skills necessary to lead and mentor my fellow cadets. Two weeks after, I became the Cadet Commander of Easton Composite Squadron.
I hope that my experiences in Civil Air Patrol portray the opportunities that we have to offer. CAP has helped me obtain my dreams in life, and I am confident that the program can help you do the same. I look forward to meeting you at our squadron and seeing how CAP can help further your endeavors!
